javopendb.com is an open magnet-check database. We turn magnet metadata into readable, durable result pages — without hosting or distributing copyrighted file contents.
What we do
- Magnet check — paste a link on the home page; your browser parses it locally first, then we queue a server job to read the file list, classify the resource (video / software / music / games), and show seeders when available.
- Open result pages — each infohash gets a canonical decision page (
/s,/v,/m,/g) with file summaries, safety hints, and verification labels derived from names and metadata only. - Software catalog — releases that pass our SEO gate are listed in the dynamic sitemap and the Software hub.
- Movie metadata — the site also hosts a TMDB-style movie catalog (search and detail pages) alongside magnet checks.
What we do not do
- We do not store, mirror, or serve torrent files or media streams.
- We do not read file contents or video/audio bitstreams on the server.
- We do not tell you whether downloading is legal — see Terms.
Open database model
Users may submit magnet links (with captcha and rate limits). Successful checks are saved and published as public result pages. Releases that meet our info-gain and compliance gate can become indexable and appear in the matching /sitemap-releases-*.xml. Valid copyright complaints trigger immediate takedown (HTTP 410) — see Copyright.
English pages use the site root; Chinese pages use /zh/.
