Video magnet reading guide
People-first notes for reading resolution/source labels, ETA ranges, players, and safe selection—without pretending we decode streams or guarantee speed.
How to read resolution & source
1080p, WEB-DL, x265, etc. come from filenames—not measured quality. Check file size and the list before downloading.
- Resolution tokens (1080p/2160p) are labels in the name—not a measured stream.
- WEB-DL vs BluRay/Remux usually means different quality ceilings.
- Score 0–100 + tier is heuristic from source × resolution × codec × size floor.
- If size looks tiny for the claimed resolution, treat it as suspect.
How video quality scoring works(full formula & tiers)
Play MKV and external subs
Desktop: VLC / mpv / PotPlayer. Load sidecar subs from the same folder. We do not host players.
- MKV: prefer VLC / mpv / PotPlayer on desktop.
- External .srt/.ass: load from the same folder as the video.
- HEVC/HDR may need newer hardware or software decode.
How to read download ETA
On-page ranges are seeder heuristics, not guaranteed speed tests. Never trust exact minutes without a real probe.
Ranges below are seeders + size heuristics (probe_method=estimate_only)—not a peer speed probe, and not your ISP speed.
- We do not invent MB/s without a real peer probe.
- Zero seeders → completion may be unlikely.
- Ranges are for expectation setting, not an SLA.
Magnet check & safety habits
Watch for exe/scripts in the list; select only the main video and subs. Use the check page for other magnets.
- Prefer selecting the main video + needed subs only.
- Skip Sample/Proof and any exe/bat/scripts.
- This site does not provide copyrighted downloads as a service.
